Mary, Bloody Mary

I have finished the book Mary, Bloody Mary.

This Book is from the viewpoint of Mary when she was a little girl to adulthood.

Mary is the first daughter of King Henry the 8th and daughter of Queen Catherine. Mary was well loved my her father until Henry fell in love with his new mistress Lady Anne. Mary was sent away and declared a Bastard by her father.
Mary was forced to live in poverty in another castle far away, she was always watched by spies that Queen Anne sent.

When Queen Anne had a child ( Elizabeth) she forced Mary to take care of her as her slave.
When Lady Anne was beheaded , and when king Henry Died she was 2nd in line to have the thrown.

Do you like this type of literature? Why is Mary called Bloody Mary? Does she have a vindicative personality due to her personal experiences?

  5. ... So many Questions.
to Personal guy > Anne was the formal mistress to the king, and that she was one of the Queens Lady in waiting.
Mrs Bradly> Yes I love these types of books. They are so interesting.
Mrs Shank> I know a lot about the tutor dynasty. I did a few research papers about the lineage. I had to prove that Mary was not as bad as she seemed. and that kinda sparked my interest in these types of books
