I needed to get a book for my English class really quick.
I thought this book would be very boring but it not at all.
I'm only on page 15 but I have learned a few things about this book.
This story starts out when they are still building the city. The chief builder and the assistant builder left instructions for the city. The instructions were not to be used/know for another 200 years, so they sealed it in a time capsule set for 200 years. This capsule was presented to the Mayor of the town. It was to be kept secret from the public and to be passed from Mayor to Mayor. About 7 Mayors down the Mayor was on his death bed and thinking that the capsule would cure him, he sent people to break it open. He died before he could pass it on to the next mayor.... so it was left in a closet until it opened......
That's about as far as I am in this book I'll blog some more when I'm a little bit further in the book.
Did he ever find out what happend in the capsule before he died? Do you as the reader know what is in the capsule? Maybe it's something cool, like a hover craft or something.... Let me know!

ReplyDeleteNo the 7th Mayor never found out what was in the time capsule, beacuse it was time locked and you couldn't never open the time capsule for 200 years.
The builders said that they left instructions in the box. They also said they were not allowed to leave the city for 200 years, so I think that there are instructions to get out of the city.
Also the Time capsule is about the size of a jewerly box, so its not big enough to have a hover craft in it.

ReplyDeleteThe 7th Mayor was suppose to pass down the capsule( that contained a big secreat), but he thought that it wold help him.... but he died and could never get the box/ time capsule to open.
